A fatal accident can occur at any time, changing lives forever. Such was the case in Pennsylvania, when a woman was killed while being dropped off in front of a pizza restaurant by her husband. The fatal accident occurred in the 1800 block of Seventh Avenue in Beaver Falls.
As the 67-year-old woman exited the car, another vehicle traveling southbound crossed the center line and struck the couple’s car and other parked vehicles beside it. The victim was hit by one of the parked cars. She was rushed to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital but died approximately five hours after the tragic crash.
The woman who lost control of her vehicle was not identified due to the ongoing accident investigation. However, she apparently later told police that the accident was a result of unidentified mechanical issues with her car. There is no word on whether the victim’s husband or the other driver was injured.
It is too early for an official conclusion as to what caused the fatal accident or the nature of the mechanical failure that the driver claims to have experienced. However, a woman died as a result of this wreck and nothing can take it back. What may have started as a simple trip to the pizza parlor ended in tragedy with a grieving husband likely seeking answers for this apparently senseless Pennsylvania accident.
Accidents that take the lives of innocent people occur every day; however, each person affected by them has the right to know why their loved ones are taken away. For this reason and for future liability issues, the family may want to pay close attention to the results of this investigation.
